The steps to replace the toner cartridge are as follows: 1. Please make sure the machine is turned on. Open the front cover and let the device cool for at least 10 minutes. When you replace the toner cartridge, you must make sure that the device is turned on so that the device can recognize that a new toner cartridge has been replaced. After using the device, some parts inside it will be very hot. Please wait for the device to cool down before touching the internal parts of the device. 2. Pull out the handle between the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly, and slowly take out the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly. 3. It is recommended that you place the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly on a disposable piece of paper with a clean and flat surface to prevent accidental toner spillage or splashing. 4. Press the green lock lever and remove the used toner cartridge from the drum unit. 5. Open the new toner package. Gently shake it left and right several times to evenly distribute the toner inside the toner cartridge. Remove the protective cover. 6. Install the new toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit until it clicks into place. Make sure you install the toner cartridge correctly, otherwise it may come out of the drum unit. When you install it correctly, the locking lever will pop up automatically. 7. Gently slide the green slider left and right a few times to clean the corona wire inside the drum unit. Be sure to return the guide block to its original position. Otherwise, vertical stripes will appear on the printed pages. 8. Reinstall the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into the device. Close the front cover of the device.
